Re: Caffeine

I noticed that coffee makes my complacency even worse, after the first pot of coffee I just don't want to do anything...other than brew three more.

Re: Isaac Kappy got suicided

Good point. It's always possible he went into a witness protection program. Just a bit odd that it would go this way instead of his just disappearing.

My wife thinks he was killed over gambling debt and that he used donation money to gamble.

He had a Spotmatic, and a telephoto lens fixed backwards.

This means he used a reversing ring that allowed his lens to be installed in reverse for close-up Macro shots. Interesting!

Re: Family Tree Richard Shaver

Aha! Luckily I keep WAR OVER LEMURIA on my bedside. I should have recognised the photo.

But i do recognise the camera, it's a Honeywell Pentax Spotmatic. Lens might be a Vivitar but it's really difficult to tell.

Scrolling down this page:

You see a section about the Ronnie Hill case. I disagree with the CGI model they used to "debunk" the photo because as someone who knows cameras I know that a wide focal length would indeed make the UFO look farther away.

Re: Humanoids

I remember that photo. The cover of the book featured the Falkville Metal Man. https://www.cryptopia.us/site/2010/03/metal-man-of-falkville-alabama-usa/ "In Falkville, Alabama, on October 17,1973; a spaceship was spotted out on a field. When the authorities got involved, the chief, Jeff Greenhaw, di...

Re: Humanoids

I used to love this book: premiere.jpg It translates to "First Investigations into Extraterrestrial Humanoids". I need to find a cheap used copy. Henry Durrant, the author, also had one called "Les Dossiers OVNI" (The UFO Dossiers). Not sure why he was never published in America. I just looked it up...
