Steiner, Waldorf schools and LEMURIA

The coincidences never cease. I've been avidly researching the Waldorf school method and its founder Rudolf Steiner. Turns out he had a lot to say about...well, pretty much everything. Including Lemuria.

I'm profoundly interested in the subject of Steiner. The guy definitely had a lot of time on his hands. His teaching "method" seems to be a volkisch Montessori-gone-wrong. Even his Anthroposophy seems like it should be called "It's Theosophy but I own it" at first glance.

I've been obsessively reading the "Waldorf Watch" site daily. It's like Shavertron for Steiner, only in a negative light. It's a critical Steinertron.

I wonder what Shaver would have said about Steiner's view of Lemuria.

Lemuria had been coined in the 1860s by British zoologist Philip Sclater to refer to a hypothetical land bridge between Africa, Madagascar and southern Asia to explain the observed similarities between the animal fossils in these now distant continents.
