It translates to "First Investigations into Extraterrestrial Humanoids". I need to find a cheap used copy. Henry Durrant, the author, also had one called "Les Dossiers OVNI" (The UFO Dossiers). Not sure why he was never published in America.
I just looked it up and he also authored "Le livre noir des soucoupes volantes" (The Blackbook of Flying Saucers"). I think I had that one as well.
This is why I think the universe split in two. Instead of the magical world of The Phoenix, we all ended up in the internet looking at our phones.
"In Falkville, Alabama, on October 17,1973; a spaceship was spotted out on a field. When the authorities got involved, the chief, Jeff Greenhaw, didn't see a space ship but something he regretted ever seeing: an alien. "
You see a section about the Ronnie Hill case. I disagree with the CGI model they used to "debunk" the photo because as someone who knows cameras I know that a wide focal length would indeed make the UFO look farther away.
There's a brief description of an alleged close encounter between a woman and a tall humanoid, during which the contactee pretended to play with her phone in order to feign unawareness. I have no idea why she didn't just use the thing to photograph the humanoid or at least the UFO she claims it disappeared into.,
